Welcome to Deaf Hub Wales

What is the Deaf Heritage Project?

The heritage project was the idea of one of our trustee members, Stuart Parkinson. The project focuses on Stuart's interviews with a diverse range of the Deaf community, based on their own experiences over the years and how being a Deaf person has changed in regards to their culture, their integration from analogue to the digital world, their educational and sporting backgrounds and their best memories remembered. The period that the heritage project covers ranges from the 1940’s to the current day.
